Progressive Voices Committee OVERVIEW

Our vision: To project progressive voices, thoughts, ideas on important issues and challenges facing us as a nation, in the world, and in the greater Naples community, including the Unitarian Congregation of Greater Naples (UUCGN).

Our mission: To identify annually key issues and challenges facing us. Invite thought leaders and scholars to address those issues in a lecture series and stimulate our intellectual curiosity and enrich our intellect.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Identify annually and continually key issues and challenges facing us by seeking input from various sources.
  • Invite thought leaders and scholars to address these issues.
  • Design lecture series, panels, and workshops.
  • Plan and publicize series to the public and within the UUCGN.
  • Volunteer to help with Greeting (2 each on six program nights needed), ticket sales (4), kitchen & food management (4), Sextons (2).
